Visitor
Last weekend there was an unexpected knock at the door. It was our neighbor letting us know that we had a visitor in our yard.
The turtle was so big our neighbor could see it crawling across our yard from her house across the street. We are guessing he came from the creek at the edge of our neighborhood. Eli liked seeing the Turtle but we couldn't let him get too close...the turtle wasn't exactly friendly. We decided it was best if Stephen returned him to his home. Just glad Pita didn't find the turtle first. I'm not sure who would have come our on top.

2 Months & 2 years
We took the kids to get their picture taken yesterday. Eli was really good the whole time and loved posing for the camera. Poor sister was a little out of sorts...see the progression below.

Cooking with Mommy
Eli has taken an interest in cooking lately so I have been trying to let him help me (when it doesn't involve standing over the stove, using knives, or other dangerous activities.) So last week we washed our hands (which he loves doing) and got started making a pizza. He watched me spread the sauce, but refused to taste it. He hates red sauces. Then he helped me add the cheese.Eating more cheese than he is putting on the pizza.
A couple of days later he wanted to "cook" again so we made cookies. Ok, so they were break and bake, but he still felt like he was cooking. :)
Rolling the dough into balls.
Eli putting the dough on the cookie sheet.
He kept picking the dough back up and trying to put the whole ball in his mouth. I eventually gave him a little pinch (or two!) of the dough. Mom always said not to eat it because of the raw eggs, but I think he is ok. (sorry mom!) :)
Sticky hands!

Classic Eli attitude.

Wicked Weekend
We started our wicked weekend off with breakfast at IHop. Meemie, Papa, & Aunt Rachel came in town on Friday night so we got up early on Saturday for breakfast to beat the crowds.
Papa & Eli
Eli's mischievous look.
Making a mess of your pancake is SO funny!
Jillian wasn content if she had a hand holding her pacifier in.
She was a happy girl when we got home later that morning.
Playing while the girls got ready.
Mommy, Aunt Rachel, & Meemie waiting for Wicked to start. What an AWESOME musical! I had seen it before but it was the first time for everyone else. I highly recommend it!

After the musical we picked up Babe's. We figured Daddy and Papa deserved it since they played with the babies all afternoon. On Sunday we went to the pool in the morning. Meemie and Papa had fun throwing balls with Eli in the baby pool. Baby girl wasn't too happy but eventually feel asleep when Meemie held her. I guess she had the touch!

Father's Day 2010
Today we had lunch with Stephen's family to celebrate all the dads! We had so much fun and both kids were pretty good at lunch.
These first three pictures were part of Stephen's Father's Day present. Last year all three pictures were of just Eli, but sister got to participate this year! They are framed side by side to spell "DAD."
