What a look!

Eli has been making this face a lot lately. What do you think he is trying to tell us?

O Christmas Tree

Stephen and I put up the Christmas Tree on Thanksgiving night. Eli wasn't sure what to think of it when he woke up the next morning. We kept telling him about the lights on the tree he was pointing to, but everytime we said lights he looked at the overhead light and gave us a confused look. I guess putting lights on a tree is kind of a crazy concept to a kid. Here is Eli checking out the tree.

Eli also found his stocking (made my Meemie!) Luckly, he has pretty much been leaving it alone since then. He does, however, like to walk underneat the stockings and let them hit his head.

With Eli being as curious of a little guy as he is, we decided it would be best to only put ornaments on the top half of the tree where his curiousity couldn't get the better of him. It might look a little funny, but I really wasn't up for spending the next five weeks policing

Visit from Meemie & Papa

The day after Thanksgiving my family came to visit Eli (Stephen and I know it's all about him.) :) Eli loved all the attention and the constant playmates! Eli and Papa playing the drums...their favorite pastime!

Eli had his first powdered donut!

He couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough!

Thanksgiving 2009

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving over at Stephen's brother and sister-in-law's house with his whole family. The food was, of course, wonderful. Sadly I did not get any pictures of the yummy turkey, gravy, ham, potatoes, green bean casserole, dressing, cranberries, fruit salad, rolls...the list goes on and on! I did however get a ton of pictures of the kids playing outside. It was such a beautiful day and they had fun playing while waiting to eat.You can't see the wheel, but Eli is steering the ship!

Head first down the slide! The boy has no fear!

Swinging with cousins Krystyna and Kymberly.

They are showing him how it's done! :)

I guess I was slacking off on the picture taking that day because I didn't get any pictures of Eli eating the first time around, but here he his at his second thanksgiving sitting of blueberries and cheese.
We are so blessed and thankful for all our family and friends!! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

20 Weeks!

We had our 20 week appointment and sonogram last week and everything is looking great! Baby is measuring about 5 days ahead, which is better than Eli who was always 1.5 - 2 weeks ahead. I'm feeling pretty good these days and we are so blessed and excited that we have another healthy baby on the way! I'm always amazed at how much the sono pics change from the first appointment. This first picture is our little jelly bean at 7 weeks.

These next three pictures are at 20 weeks. I can tell already that he or she is very cute!! Yes, we made it through the appointment without finding out what the baby is! :) Can't wait to find out in about 4 months though!

Halloween

Our little monkey had a fun week! First we went to the Fall Festival at our church. The had so much for the kids to do!! Eli was a little too young for a lot of it, but he really liked the petting zoo.
Daddy getting Eli all dressed and into his stroller. He really liked holding his tail! :)
Still in a good mood!

Petting the goats! According to Eli, all the animals at the petting zoo say "moo!"

Eli had no idea what to think about the llama.

We tried to get him to be gentle with the rabbit. Gentle is a concept we are tying to teach him at home with Pita as well. It is really hard for him to be gentle when he is so excited! lol

Eli also saw his friends! Here is Eli with cute little miss Audrey!

I think Eli has a crush on Chloe. Maybe he has a thing for ducks??

Eli thought Reece's costume was so cool!

Eli was pretty tired most of the night. This was a common sight.

On Halloween we let Eli help hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Daddy decided he wanted to take Eli to one house, so we walked down the street and around the corner. Poor Eli's hat came down over his eyes, so he had a hard time.

Our little Monkey

Eli wasn't sure what to do when the door opened. lol

Meltdown as we walked away from the one house we went to.

Everything was better by the time we got back to our house.

Eli scoping out his one piece of candy. It had nuts so we couldn't let him eat it. He wasn't upset since he didn't know what it was anyway.

Getting caught!!

Coming Home 2009

Last weekend was Baylor's homecoming! We love getting to see old friends and cheer on the Bears (sadly, they lost.) I would love to take Eli to the parade, but we barely made the 11:30 kick off since we drove in that morning. Eli was pretty good for most of the game.

Eli & Daddy before the game with their Baylor gear (i.e. free pom poms and pennants.) Eli was way too distracted to look at the camera.

Sitting on the bleachers like a big boy, watching the game.

Watching Daddy clap and yell.

We went to dinner afterward with some good friends who were also gracious enough to put us up for the night. Here is Eli waiting patiently for our name to be called.

Being a ham!

I wish I knew what he was thinking here...he looks like he is going to get in some trouble. :)

Eli helping us close his suitcase.

We have a stowaway!
