Snow!

This is what we woke up to on Thursday morning! There are only a couple of inches on the ground here. Our house

View of the street from our house on Thursday morning.

Eli...not really sure if he wants to go out.

Here he is just before I pulled him out in the snow and he started crying. This was our second attempt to get him to like it and he wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with it.

He did, however, want to follow me down to the street to get a shot of the house. This was Thursday afternoon. You can see there are a few more inches of snow
It continued to snow from the time we woke up on Thursday morning through about 4am Friday morning. I think we got between 7 and 8 inches total. This is more snow than I have ever seen in Texas. These pictures are taken from our front window looking at the street on Friday morning.

18 Months and 30 Weeks

Yes, this post is a little late, but Eli is 18 months old and I am 30 weeks pregnant with little brother or little sister! I can't believe I am so close to the end of this pregnancy already! It has been going really well so far. I think I'm a little more tired this time around but chasing an 18 month old will do that to you! I'm going to the doctor every two weeks now and it won't be long before it is every week. I've already been having a few braxton hicks contractions but don't worry...nothing too regular. :)

We are (very) slowly but surely getting prepared for baby Davis #2. The crib is here and half way put together! lol We also got down some other things we will need from the attic (onesies, gowns, receiving blankets, etc.) but I need to go through them and get them washed and organized. It will get done...eventually! :)

Eli just keeps getting bigger every day! I love how much he changes daily and the new things he does and says. He is so full of energy and loves to run around the house. Eli loves books and puzzles and is obsessed with balls! Big balls, small balls, tennis balls, footballs, basketballs...you name it, he loves it! He also loves watching football on TV. He recognizes when it comes on and cheers very loudly! Meal time can be a chore since Eli isn't usually all that interested in eating. He will eat fruit all day long but is a bit more picky when it comes to veggies. He isn't really a meat eater other than the occasional piece of lunch meat turkey or chicken nuggets. Overall, he is doing great and we love having him around! I am trying to savor every moment with him until Baby Davis #2 arrives!

18 Month Stats:
