Do you think he is ready?

We got out the infant car seat the other day and I couldn't even get the freshly washed cover back on before Eli was dying to get in it. He even pointed at it and said "baby," but he seems to think HE is the baby. Do you think he is ready for a brother or sister?

Snowy Sunday in Spring!

Saturday night we went to bed thinking we might get a light dusting of snow that wouldn't even stick. Sunday morning we woke up to this:

This is the view out our front window. I wasn't about to go down to the curb to take a picture of our house!

Here is the back yard. The snow was blowing sideways so everything got covered!

When we got home from church we decided to have Eli give the snow one more try...third times a charm, right? Well, he at least touched it!

Eli thought it was so funny when Daddy would pick up some snow and then throw it down on the driveway. He decided it would also be funny to hit the snow out of Daddy's hand, but he definitely did NOT want to hold the snow himself.

Eli is making a foot print in the snow like Daddy, but he wouldn't put more than one foot in at a time.

Lets Go Baylor, Lets Go!

My boys were SO excited to watch their Bears play ODU on Saturday! Eli and I also had fun watching Daddy pace around the living room, jump up & down, & yell at the tv. :) The Bears pulled out a win and are headed to the Sweet 16!! We are so proud of our Baylor Bears and can't wait to cheer them on to another victory on Friday!

Diapers & Wipes!

Today our wonderful Sunday School class showered Baby Davis #2 with our biggest necessity...DIAPERS & WIPES!!! Even big brother Eli received a gift (thanks W Family!) We are so lucky to have such a great group of friends to help us as we prepare for a new baby! Our wonderful small group also made a delicious breakfast. Everyone was so great to get out in the cold and SNOW this morning to bless us! Thank you to our Sunday School class and small group for all the goodies!!

Eli's March Madness!!

With all the basketball going on Daddy couldn't resist getting Eli a new toy...his very own basketball goal! At first I thought it might be a little tall for him but turns out it's the perfect height! Eli absolutely LOVES it! We couldn't pull him away from it tonight after more than an hour of shooting hoops!

Look at this happy face! There is no doubt this kid loves basketball as much as his Daddy! :) Eli is 20 months today and will become a big brother this month! We can't wait to meet little brother or sister!

Computer Savvy

Eli LOVES Daddy's computer! Of course, I usually tell him no and/or take it away from him, but I was tired so I just took a picture. Is that bad? He just looked so cute and smart! :)

Surprise Shower!

On Wednesday the girls at work surprised me and my other co-worker (also due in April) with a little baby shower! We both already have little boys and she is expecting a little girl. Here are the diaper cakes that the very talented Amy made.

I also got a great gift card to Target! We are thinking about using it to get a double stroller. Any suggestions on what kind you like or don't like?

Sarah, who is clearly a gifted baker, made these cute cookies!
