6 Month Eli!

Ok, so this post is REALLY late. Eli turned 6 months old on January 18th! We are having SO much fun with him! He talks to us all the time and is fascinated by Pita (the dog.) He loves to grab her ears, and she doesn't mind at all! He sits up pretty well on his own...at least until he dives for a toy! :) He is rolling all over the place and starting to get up on his knees to scoot a few inches. He hasn't quite put together that if he uses his hands and arms along with his knees he could really get moving. He usually sleeps from about 8:30 pm to 6:00 am, which we are loving!! Every once in a while he wakes up crying/whining in the middle of the night, but if we turn his mobile on he usually goes right back to sleep. At his six month appt. the doctor said we are right on track with him having 4 bottles and 3 meals a day. He is driving us crazy by trying to turn over (toward the wall) EVERY TIME we change his diaper or clothes. It often takes two of us just to get the job done with our little wiggle worm. Eli was sick for the first time this past month with Bronchiolitis. We had to give him breathing treatments every couple of hours...definitely not his favorite thing since he screamed every time, but we made it through! Daddy's favorite new thing that Eli does is blowing raspberries, which he does often and makes a mess when doing it while eating. :)

6 Month Stats:
Height - 28 1/2 in. - 93%
Weight - 20 lbs. 8 oz. - 97%

Sweet boy!

Mommy's happy boy just waking up from a nap. :)

Looking like a big boy sitting up by himself!

Eli is ready to go to school with his puppy dog hat on!

Yeah...I've always said I felt like I was raising an octopus. LOL! JK is still like that. So we keep a special stash of toys that he's only allowed to play with when he's getting changed. (old remote, old cell phone, a few McD toys) If I can just get 30 seconds out of him, we're good!
