Puppy Love

From the moment we brought Eli home, Pita has been in love with him! We weren't really sure how she would take a new addition to the family. We thought she would be extremely jealous since she has had all our attention for the past 3 1/2 years. But from what we can tell she thinks Eli is her baby. After we got home I put Eli in his pack-n-play and walked away. Pita stood by him and whined as if to say, "Why are you leaving my baby alone? He needs you!" Anyway, here are pics from their first meeting. Pita is so interested in him, she stood up on her hind legs (which she NEVER does) to try and see in the pack-n-play.

Bath Time

Well, as I was changing Eli's dirty diaper today, he decided he wasn't quite finished and proceeded to poop and pee all over the changing table and himself, resulting in a bath. As you can see, he loves baths. :) I consider myself lucky that it took six days for him to pee without his diaper on.

Hi everyone! I don't have a lot of time to write but I wanted to post some more pictures of Eli. We are home from the hospital now and all doing great! He is so much fun! We hope to see everyone soon!

I am sure there will be a more comprehensive post later, but Brittney gave birth to our new baby boy tonight at 6:42 at Baylor Frisco. Baby Eli came as a surprise to all, but after contractions started Thursday night and continued into Friday morning, a trip to the hospital became more and more of a reality. Eli is 8lbs. 1oz and 22 inches long. Here are the best pictures of Eli, Mommy , and Daddy. Many more to follow! Thanks to everybody for everything during this wonderful time!
