Christmas Part 1

Christmas with the Davis Clan

We had so much fun celebrating Christmas at our house with Stephen's family.
Grandmommy getting a snack for Jillian.

Jillian's new book, toy, and baby doll from Grandmommy.

She loves her new tea set!

Tissue paper might be her favorite of all.

Her CD player from Grandpa.  It plays her favorite songs!

Jillian is less than thrilled about sitting with Santa (Uncle Keith.)

Eli wasn't really sure what to think about Santa.

Santa with all the grandkids including baby Carter!

Stinker sneaking a cookie.

Eli LOVES his new drums!

His computer from Grandpa!  Maybe he will leave Daddy's alone now. :)

Uncle Scott and Jillian.

Christmas Eve

We went to Christmas Eve service with Stephen's dad and then to a family friend's house for dinner with Stephen's mom.  The kids posed in front of the tree before we left.

Big smiles!

Christmas Eve pjs!

Look what Santa brought!  Yes, that is a potty for Eli.  I figured if he thinks Santa brought it, maybe he will like it. :)

Tools for Eli.  He LOVES them!

And a kitchen for sister.

Eli wasn't sure what to think at first.

Cooking in her kitchen!

Smiles with her new musical panda.

Fun toys from his stocking.

Yes, those are measuring cups.  I'm hoping he will stay away from mine now!

More Christmas to come...

9 Months

Ok, so I never posted anything when Jillian turned 8 months so I'm playing catch up now and feeling guilty as I write.

Here is what Jillian has been up to the past two months:
-Can say "mama" and "dada."  She will even repeat it after us if she is in a good mood.
-Rolls EVERWHERE!  She has started pulling up so she is on her knees but not on her feet yet.  She gets on her knees like she is going to crawl yet but still not moving her hands and knees at the same time to make it happen.
-Had her first ear infection this month. :(
-The week after Christmas she got her top two front teeth.  We were at Meemie & Papa's house and she was out of sorts half the time.
-Loves to be sung to.  Loves any toys that make music.
-Still likes her paci when she goes to sleep or is upset.
-Has four bottles a day and 2-3 "meals."  Favorite baby foods are peas, carrots, blueberries, pears, corn/sweet potatoes.  She has also tried a few finger foods like peas, corn, carrots, apples, and bananas.  She doesn't act crazy about any of them but definitely likes feeding herself.
-Likes to feed herself puffs but her favorite are mum-mums.  She also LOVES to chew on/sip water from her sippy cup.  She can also sip water from a straw.
-Sleeps good at night and at nap time.  We usually put her down awake with her mobile on and she goes right to sleep.  In the last couple of weeks, she has started sitting up and playing in her crib during nap time.  Sadly, she ususally falls asleep propped up on her bumper and then wakes up earlier and upset.
-Wears size 4 diapers, size 3 shoes, and mostly 12 month clothes.

Our little girl is growing up!

Stats:
Height: 29 3/4 inches - 98%
Weight: 19 lbs. 6 oz. - 65%

It's all fun and games...

until someone gets hurt!  Luckly, no one got hurt this time.  Just wanted everyone to see how much baby sister loves her big brother. :)

De-fense!

Last week, our friend Ronnie got Stephen and Eli tickets to a Mavericks game.  It was Eli's first time.  He LOVED it!  He got scared when the lights went out and they announced the players.  Daddy had to get him french fries to make it better.  They made it to half time before Eli got cranky.  He has been running around shooting at his basketball goal and yelling/growling "De-fense" and "Go Mavericks!"

Eli & Daddy heading out to the game!

Eli & boo boo - almost the same height! :)

Shifty eyes

Big smile from the suite!

Eli, his fake smile, and Daddy.  Still a good picture though.  :)

Lets go Mavericks! (they were still warming up.)

Eating the french fries after the scary introductions.

Look how high I can reach!

Thanks so much for the tickets Ronnie!!
