My sister
Most of you know my sister, Rachel, is have a bone marrow transplant soon. She and my mother left their home in Arkansas today to go to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Rachel will be having the procedure at a hospital there and will need to be there at least through the end of November, possibly longer. We would really appreciate your prayers for Rachel and the rest of my family (dad, two brothers, and a sister are still at home.) Many of you have wanted more information about Rachel and the procedure so we created a blog and you can check that out here. My mother will be posting as much as possible, so keep checking back for updates. I will also post this blog on my sidebar. Thanks for your prayers!

Haircut!
Eli had his first haircut today! I was worried he might not like it but even though we had to wait 30 minutes he did GREAT!!! He was actually pretty content for most of it. I took tons of pictures...

Laundry Fun!
I don't really think those two words go together, but apparantly Eli does! He climbed right into the (clean) basket of laundry and had a good old time! He had a little bit of trouble trying to get out without hurting himself though.

Happy Fathers Day!
Sorry this is late but we had a great Father's Day celebrating with hubby's family. I really didn't take very many pictures, but here are a couple of our boy and his Daddy on his first Father's Day!

Say Cheese!
Even though he isn't quite a year old yet, we got Eli's one year pictures done today since we have so much to do the next couple of weekends. We had to wait a while even though we had an appointment. PI is a zoo on Saturdays...I don't recommend it. I was just hoping to get through the session before he had a melt down and he made it! :) Other parents were not so lucky though. I LOVE getting professional pictures of Eli, but the whole thing kind of stresses me out until we are done with the session. You never know if they will be happy and smiley or a crying mess. The hard part is actually choosing pictures after they are taken. We ended up with over 100 pictures to choose from. We knew we had to narrow that WAY down, but how are we supposed to do that when (almost) every picture of our child is amazing?? :) Anyway, here are some of our favorites of our almost one-year-old!

11 Months!
Our boy is 11 months old today! *sniff* We are one month away from having a 1 year old! I can't believe I'm planning Eli's first birthday party. Time is just flying by way too fast and Eli is just SO much fun! Here are a few pics and a video of Eli mimicking me.
